Mission Statement

We believe women are capable of taking responsibility for their health and wellness. We encourage a woman to take an active role in her health care, and we support a collaborative team approach with other practitioners of her choosing.

We believe women should have access to the best medical care and health information possible. We provide a safe environment in which to ask questions, where no question is trivialized.

We believe in advancing women's health and choices, offering personal services throughout the lifespan. We are committed to offering high quality, respectful care to all of our clients.

We believe childbirth is a normal, natural event. We believe that, in most instances, a woman can have a birth experience without medical intervention. We believe it is the right of each woman to choose her plans and goals for her birth experience, and we support her decisions.

We believe in a community wherein each woman's beliefs about her health and wellness are respected so that she may live freely to reach her highest potential.

We believe in educating others in the Midwifery Model of Care. We offer information and training for health care practitioners and health care advocates.
